Group Exhibition
Rexhibit Online Gallery is proud to present the group exhibition Ordinary Mythologies - Where everyday things become symbols.
In line with our mission to bridge the gap between the esoteric world of contemporary art and the public, this exhibition welcomes works that explore everyday objects, spaces, images, gestures, and rituals as carriers of personal, cultural, and symbolic meaning.
We believe exhibitions are more than displays. They are spaces where familiar experiences can be re-seen, where art allows the ordinary, overlooked, intimate, and repetitive parts of life to become visible. By spotlighting diverse artistic voices from around the world and presenting their stories in accessible and engaging ways, we aim to make contemporary art a meaningful shared experience.
A mythology does not always begin with grand narratives. It can emerge quietly from what we live with, return to, inherit, collect, repeat, or remember. Ordinary things can hold private histories, social codes, emotional attachments, and cultural imagination.
Ordinary Mythologies invites artists to explore how the familiar becomes symbolic through memory, habit, identity, domestic life, material culture, and everyday experience. This show is not only about ordinary life. It is about the subtle, strange, intimate, and powerful ways meaning is made, carried, transformed, and remembered.
