Amy Duval is a Canadian visual artist from North Vancouver, British Columbia. Her sculptural practice explores how objects acquire and transform meaning through making, use, and display. Working with mold-making, slip casting, and installation, she investigates material memory, repetition, and the shifting relationships between familiar objects. Duval received her MFA in Craft and Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University (2025), her BFA from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (2017), and her BA from the University of Victoria (2012). Her work has been exhibited across Canada, including at Harbourfront Centre (ON), the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery (ON), Port Moody Arts Centre (BC), and the Yuill Family Gallery (AB), as well as in the United States as part of a two-person exhibition at NCECA, (VA). She has participated in residencies at Medalta and Harbourfront Centre and is the recipient of the Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics (2023) and a Windgate Fellowship (2025).
